Last year, I reviewed my experience studying Mathematics X1 at Dr Du Education, commenting on their professionalism as a stand-out quality. This year studying X2 has been no different. Instead, I would just like to elaborate on another aspect of the services provided here, that being the broad scope of content offered. I have often heard criticisms that Dr Du teaches content outside of the syllabus, but for a subject like Mathematics X2, it is precisely this holistic approach centred around difficult and challenging content that sets Dr Du apart, preparing students to respond to even the most challenging of Q16 content.

My biggest regret is not going to Dr Du earlier, it was one of the most comprehensive tutoring schools I’ve been to for maths. The environment was fast paced but still accommodating with its many resources available for students.

Dr Du education helped me a lot for my maths subjects, especially the revision part after finishing all the content. I really appreciate Dr DU’s online help, which allows me to ask a lot questions and study efficiently:)

When I enrolled at Dr Du, I immediately noticed a marked change from the tutoring colleges I had visited prior. The classrooms were neat, tidy and spacious, and the reception attentive and friendly. Above all else, Dr. Du’s approach to unpacking HSC questions has always been extremely comprehensive and analytical. For a given topic, even niche derivatives of questions were examined to a deep and complex level, resulting in almost no unseen question types for most Maths papers. The difficult content fosters the development of mathematical intuition, which has proven invaluable time and time again for the harder, component-B-style questions. Although Dr Du is far more challenging and extensive compared to what the syllabus explicitly demands, I have strong reason to assert that the ability to thoroughly understand and engage with their enriched content is essential for attaining the upper mark ranges in the HSC.

I want to say thank you for giving the best lessons and best homework for the past 2 years. I’m an international student who moved to Australia at the beginning of year 11 and was completely new to the place. You supported me a lot so that I could do my best in my HSC and received great results. You and your son William made Maths much easier as you taught me to understand the roots of every problem. It was also harder as you provided such unexpected questions and quizzes so that I could reach my potential while sitting the HSC.

Dr. Du Education has been an amazing place for me to learn Maths. The tutors here are very friendly and explain the lecture notes in a succinct manner. Doing the quizzes weekly helped me minimise my silly mistakes and improved my ability to tackle all types of questions. The homework was quite challenging but without that challenge, it wouldn’t have been possible for me to reach my full potential.

I am very thankful for Dr Du Education due to the large and positive impact they had on my mathematical studies. I found lectures very engaging and tailored not specifically, but for all students no matter their skill level.

Just wanted to say thanks to this stressful, yet extremely rewarding tutoring centre. You guys managed to genuinely make me feel excited to come in every Thursday at 4:30, even though I would have to scramble for those quizzes and stress for the marks. I can’t thank you guys enough for my marks in the HSC.

Dr Du Education has unlocked new paths of thinking that not only enhances your mathematical ability, but also your academic attitude as a whole. The weekly homework and quizzes reinforce every topic leading up to the HSC. They pushed me from rank 60 in Year 9 maths at Sydney Boys to finishing 1st in 4U at the end of Year 12.

Teacher is very nice and knowledgeable, always able and eager to clarify any issues I have with the content or the method to a problem. General environment is tidy and comfortable and overall conducive to learning. The resources at Dr Du Education with its notes and assortment of mathematical problems is unparalleled.

Dr Du has been a great learning experience in improving my mathematics advanced problem solving skills and helping me to interpret the question and using the current formulas/methods to solve the question.

Mathematics at Dr Du Education has allowed me to experience a wide variety of questions related to the 3U Math course. This has been very helpful as I have been getting better at tackling obscure questions relating to maths.

At Dr Du, we are constantly improving in understanding, speed and accuracy from the weekly quizzes, homework and teacher feedback. The incredible dedication, intelligence, student engagement and humour of the teachers, is what sets Dr. Du Education apart.

Dr. Du Education is a great place that pushes you to work harder and aim higher. The online forum really assisted with any issues regarding homework. The lesson formats are always structured and organised. Despite homework being a large task every week, it was necessary.

My time at Dr Du has helped me grow as a math student from junior to senior years. The learning environment helped us to become better students, and the weekly quizzes and homework booklets encouraged us to be pushed to our limits. …

The teaching is very in-depth, and the lessons always clarify and reinforce the key points of each topic. In class, different approaches to solving a problem would be introduced and important mathematical concepts are highlighted which is very helpful because you’re critically thinking on what you learn and how to apply them. Homework provides varied problems which have been very helpful in reinforcing what you learn.

Dr. Du for the past 3 years has helped me reach my full potential in Maths. The Dr. Du Forum, has especially been very helpful throughout the week. The weekly quiz allows me to see where I am at within a greater cohort. The term promotions and weekly leaderboard has been very motivational and gives us a goal to reach, particularly in the earlier years.

Dr. Du has been really helpful. I went from normal classes at school to top classes and top ranks at school. I think Dr. Du helped very much in this. The weekly quizzes are extremely useful in practising time pressure, maths practice. I think this is the most useful thing. The structure format of every lesson was also helpful.
